Jessica Robinson performing “Chacun le sait“ from Gaetano Donizetti’s comic opera La Fille du Régiment during the 2023 Cardiff Singer Of The World Main Prize Final. The Welsh soprano’s roles include Rose (Lakmé), Rosina (The Barber of Seville) and Despina (Così fan tutte), for Swansea City Opera, and Heavenly Voice Don Carlos and Tetka Jenůfa for Grange Park Opera, among others. She is a regular soloist in oratorio and concert performances throughout the United Kingdom (Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music for BBC Radio 3; soloist in Handel’s Messiah at Wales Millennium Centre) and has performed internationally in New York, China, Switzerland and Italy.
