Cowboy Monkey (1959)

Henfield, West Sussex. M/S monkey running across a green field. C/U of cow’s face. Monkey sitting on grass, and then walking along with cows in the background. Ginger, the monkey, lives and sleeps with the cows. He is believed to have escaped from a research establishment. M/S Ginger having a drink from a trough. He looks after the cows in return for a banana, cream doughnuts and some sweets. L/S Herbert Browning, the farmer, walks up to the wooden fence, and holds out a banana for him. Ginger isn’t tame. M/S as he looks across at the cows, snarling, opening his mouth as if to yell. M/S cow’s face. M/S monkey sitting on fence shaking himself and scratching, preening his tummy. C/U monkey.
