OPEN SHELVING For My Alaskan Cabin - Wk 35 - Test

Good morning my friends. This week I completed most of the remaining work on kitchen including installation of some open birch shelving. My wife and I have long loved this style of shelving. It creates spaciousness which is especially attractive in this little area. We believe this kitchen would sacrifice it’s airy feeling with conventional upper cabinets. For the kitchen lighting I chose fish-eye-style, LED puck lights. These little fixtures are directional and work well when installed in a pitched ceiling. Over the bar I installed a vintage, LED, Edison bulb for it’s rustic feel. Lastly, I want to introduce you to my wife and best friend (at the end of this video). She has been a wonderful encouragement to me during this project. The two of us will be heading up to the mountains soon to begin a new and exciting project there. She will be taking part in many of those videos. I am certainly looking forward to that. As always, thank you so much for being part of my life. P
