Aubrey Plaza Super Bowl Mountain Dew Baja Blast ad like being asked to host ’SNL’

Aubrey Plaza is joining big name celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Jason Momoa and David and Victoria Beckham by starring in a Super Bowl ad. Plaza has been tapped to appear in a commercial for Mountain Dew Baja Blast. The Emmy nominee compared the honor of being asked to star in a Super Bowl ad as like being asked to host “Saturday Night Live.“ The ad pokes fun at Plaza’s often deadpan demeanor. She’s described as “always having a blast,“ whether she is stuck in an elevator or being abducted by aliens — or reuniting with her “Parks and Recreation” co-star Nick Offerman while riding dragons. Plaza and Offerman aren’t the only “Parks and Rec“ actors appearing in Super Bowl ads this year. Chris Pratt also appears in an ad for Pringles. -The AP
