BACKROOMS: The Complex Found Footage | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Since it’s October it is the perfect time to return once again to the Backrooms! There are plenty of Backrooms games out there, but The Complex got my attention because of its esthetics. The game almost achieves a photorealistic vibe of the found footage visuals because of cleverly used filters and post processing. The game pretty much looks like the Kane Pixels videos which is a great achievement. It’s cool to move through various levels and areas of the Backrooms and the game nails the atmosphere and look better than any other Backrooms game. Now some might argue that the game is a bit slow or maybe even boring, but I was tense the entire time and thought this was a great example of what we can expect from Backrooms games in the future. The game is completely free on Steam so I think it works great as a tech demo to inspire future indie developers who want to make a liminal space game as well. #backrooms #horrorgaming #gaming #thebackrooms #halloween
