Juditha Triumphans

First off, Juditha and Adria are both poetic names for the Republic of Venice. This one was made by Vivaldi to celebrate the victory at the siege of Corfù, but I believe it fits well to celebrate the victory at Lepanto as well. On 7 October, 1571, the fleet of the Holy League - a joint military force of the major Catholic powers in Southern Europe - met the way more numerous Turkish Navy in the Ionian Sea.
