Falcon 9 launches Arabsat BADR-8 and Falcon 9 first stage landing

A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched the Arabsat BADR-8 satellite to a geosynchronous transfer orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, on 27 May 2023, at 04:30 UTC (00:30 EDT). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1062) previously supported thirteen missions: GPS III SV04, GPS III SV05, Inspiration4, Ax-1, Nilesat 301, OneWeb 17 and seven Starlink missions. Credit: Airbus/SpaceX
