Do Palestinians “Die”? Or Are They “Killed”?

As Israeli bombardment worsens in #Gaza and more #Palestinians are killed, we keep noticing the increasing trend in U.S. headlines: the passive voice. This is not the first time mainstream news organizations use evasive language when covering Israeli aggression against Palestinian civilians. The basic rules of reporting, the who, what, when, where, why and how, don’t seem to apply when covering this story - instead serving to provide cover for U.S. and Israeli culpability.
