Firing from a flamethrower at the DPR training ground

Firing from a flamethrower at the DPR training ground Military personnel of motorized rifle units of the Vostok group practiced their skills in using flamethrower rocket systems at one of the training grounds on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, military personnel conducted live firing with the RPG-18 Mukha anti-tank rocket launcher and the RPO-A Shmel infantry rocket flamethrower. During a special military operation, these types of weapons show high effectiveness in the fight against enemy armored vehicles, including Western-made ones. At the training ground, motorized rifle groups of the Vostok forces learned to hit targets at a distance of more than 500 meters, which rocket ammunition travels in less than three seconds. In combat conditions, grenade launchers and flamethrowers need to get as close as possible to the enemy and, in a few seconds, with one or several shots, destroy military equipment or equipped enemy fortifications and firing points. The RPO-A Shmel ammunition has a caliber of 93 mm and is not inferior to 152 mm artillery shells in terms of high-explosive and incendiary effects. The target firing range of a flamethrower with a diopter sight is 600 m, and with an optical sight up to 850 m. Join Military Wave Источник: Military Wave
