Perform a “hook“ by swinging leg across then wrapping around the ankle of the opposite leg. Transfer weight from one arm to the other for supporting balance. 2. Keeping the hook in place for support, take a step back with the opposite leg. 3. Place both arms down for support, then bring the hooked leg underneath and back through opening to get into bear plank position. 4. Using one arm for support, create an opening by kicking forward and through using the opposite leg, then placing foot for support. 5. Bring the back leg forward and place ankle behind the knee of the lead leg, which creates a hook. 6.
