why aren’t you scared of me? why do you care for me? . . . canon: billy is dead and had no scenes with steve in season 3 me: no ❤️ so hopefully this makes sense but if you’re looking for a basic plot: billy is possessed by the mind flayer. el starts to suspect this and goes to steve with her concerns because she knows steve and billy are close. steve shares her concerns and tries to get through to billy, but billy is trying to keep him away to protect him. as billy succumbs more and more to the mind flayer, he starts losing memory of steve until steve and el are able to wake him up. billy and steve save the day and billy doesn’t die... yay! did y’all see dacre is saying he’s up to come back for season 4 if the showrunners want him to???? obviously I’m spiraling. but it allowed me to get this done finally!
