Coromant Capto® C10 - Heavy turning solution from Sandvik Coromant

By using a Quick change system the set-up time in lathes and VTL can be reduce dramatically. Shorter time to change over one tool style to another: from 15 minutes with a shank tool down to just one minute with Coromant Capto. Quick change can be used in turning centre whit or without Driven ToolHolders (DTH) but also in heavy turning on VTL or HD lathes. Even for heavy turning solutions with big insert e.g. 38 or 50 mm inserts it is possible to minimize the set-up time to get Green Light Machining.
