He was also the Butler of Edmon Burton and safeguarded generations of Witwiccans for seven centuries, protecting and maintaining the family’s collection of secret artifacts. But he was originally meant to be even more than just a hired robot hand. Cogman was supposed to be a Headmaster which is a smaller robot who transforms into the head of a larger robot. In a cut scene Nitro Zeus was supposed to get his head tore off from his body by Cogman, who could commandeer the headless body like a transtector. But it was considered too violent and ultimately went unfilmed. However, the respective toys retain the ability to swap heads.
