Plane carrying 61 people crashes in Brazil

A plane carrying 61 people has crashed in São Paulo, Brazil. The plane came down over the city of Vinhedo, the Brazilian-based airline Voepass confirmed. Data from Flightradar24, the flight-tracking website, showed it had been heading north-east between the cities of Cascavel to Guarulhos when it crashed a short distance from its final destination. A short clip published on social media shows the plane falling out of the sky and spiralling towards the ground, but not the moment of impact. It is unclear what caused it to crash.
