Indian Ringneck ( Rose-ringed ) Parakeets near Kidwai Cottage, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, India

Rose-ringed Parakeets - Psittacula krameri - shot in May ’12. They same to be fond of pods of leguminous trees. The pods being eaten in the second clip belong to Prosoips juliflora, a native of Mexico, now fully naturalized in India.
