Africafé 2 - Afro House & Desert Blues mix by YOUS

Journey through Africa with the divine African feminine voices of Sona Jobarteh, Oumou Sangare, Rokia Traore, Cesaria Evora, Aziza Brahim and many more. They are also joined by desert blues masters Ali Farka Toure, Vieux Farka Toure (his son), Tinariwen in a musical mix that combines desert blues, afro house and organic house. This afro house and organic house mix came together as a second opus of Africafé to celebrate some of my favourite musical and spiritual desert blues masters. It is also meant to showcase the variety of cultures, countries, languages and people of Africa. Which I hope will move you as well. The original tracks are revisited with an accent of afro house as well as organic house. Compared to the first Africafé this one is intentionally more bougie and, while it also aims to leave you with strong feelings of joy and a sense of universality, it intentionally has a faster rhythm to initiate bodily expression. 🪬 Purpose 🪬 The name Africafé is a symbol of its afro house influence as well as the mood uplifting feel it will leave you with. A careful selection of organic house and folktronica edits allowed to also give a modern feel to this afro house & desert blues mix. The picture was generated after numerous iterations and perfections through Midjourney. The intent was to portrait a laughing Tuareg woman dancing joyfully with a starry sky in the background. The moving universe is to symbolise the universality of music, particularly of African music in this mix. You can see the universe moving clockwise and entering her sleeve which lights up at a heartbeat. The universe moves and moves us with it, regardless of geographical, cultural and social boundaries.
