Oh! Darling (Beatles cover)

Here is a video for you featuring my re-creation of the Beatles song “Oh! Darling” from the “Abbey Road“ album. I originally recorded the bass part using my Hofner bass a few years ago, but after doing so, discovered that they used the Fender Bass VI (most likely John played the part). You can tell it’s the Fender Bass VI because he’s playing a 12th-fret harmonic on the high E string (regular basses don’t have this string). As usual, I’m playing and singing all the parts. What you see in this video are the actual performances as I recorded them. There is no “lip-syncing“ or miming. Enjoy! Special thanks to Rick Purdy for the use of his Gibson Les Paul guitar.
