US block on additional Ukraine funding “will get sorted out“, ambassador tells DW | DW News

The United States Ambassador to the NATO military alliance has told DW that a current block in the US congress on additional funding for Ukraine “will get sorted out“. Lawmakers in Washington didn’t include $6 billion in military assistance, that Kyiv says it needs, on its spending bill amid turmoil on Capitol. US NATO ambassador Julianne Smith was speaking to DW correspondent Jack Parrock ahead of a meeting of NATO defence ministers at the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels next week.
