Why is a Service Year important to a museum ship’s interpretation

Hello all! Thanks for being here again! In this video, Shane (and the Buffalo Naval Park) has finally picked a service year for each of our three vessels. He explains why the specific service years were picked, and how he arrived at these years. There are some challenges to these years - especially with USS The Sullivans, and the weapons platform that she is currently configured in. I hope you enjoy this video!
