Igor Larionov Игорь Ларионов - The Professor

Larionov was centre between Vladimir Krutov and Sergei Makarov in the famous “KLM Line“ dominated both the Soviet League and international competition in the 80s. Larionov won two Olympic gold medals (1984, 1988) for the Soviet Union and one bronze medal (2002). At the World Championships, Larionov won four golds (1982, 1983, 1986, 1989). He was an member of the Soviet squad that won the 1981 Canada Cup. Larionov joined NHL in 1989 and played for Vancouver Canucks, San Jose Sharks, Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings. Larionov was one of the Red Wings famous “Russian Five“ line in the mid-1990s. With the Red Wings he won three Stanley Cups.
