He starts by making a gel mold of his hand before filling it with liquid tin. He then cuts off the gel mold with a box cutter to reveal a metal replica of his thumbs up. After this, he drills a hole in the top of the thumb and cuts a slit down the middle. You probably don’t know what he’s making but don’t worry, it will all make sense in the end. Next, he attaches the fist to a wooden post to trace its size and begins to whittle down the edges of the post one strip at a time.
