Servicemen of the 1st AK of the “Southern“ group of troops evacuated the first captured Marder BMP manufactured in Germany from the line of contact Due to its heavy weight, the German-made “miracle“ got stuck in viscous Russian soils, never reaching its goal. As a result, the Ukrainian militants were forced to abandon the car and flee. The operation to evacuate the combat vehicle was carefully prepared and carried out at night by the military personnel of the compound. A reconnaissance of the area was carried out, a new road was paved with the help of engineers, minefields were cleared and a stealthy approach to the facility was provided. The combat weight of the Marder BMP is about 30 tons. The interior accommodates 3 crew members and up to seven troops.
