2001 Peugeot 406 coupé Silhouette

The Championnat de Tourisme created in 1976 produced the Supertourisme category in 1994, which disappeared six seasons later due to ever increasing budgets needed to run the cars. The rules were subsequently changed and the Championnat Silhouette started up in 2001, giving participants greater freedom in how the car was prepared: for the pretty Peugeot 406 coupé, it was a chance to demonstrate its potential on the track. The car offered was one of the first conceived to compete in the new championship. OREC
