Tikkurila - The Power Of Colours

The Power of Colours - The campaign is built around a TV film, which is based on telling the story of the four seasons on a wooden wall -- by painting. The paint job took five days and required hundreds of litres of paint. The painters were art students and art teachers. The painting project, reactions of passers-by and the changing of days were simultaneously recorded by five cameras from different angles, 95,000 frames in all. The end result is a colourful documentary on the life of the wooden surface -- a hand painted stop motion animation, where everything happens frame by frame. The film is accompanied by especially composed music.
