Fontaine Theme - Devant La Loi (Fan-Made OST) | Genshin Impact

This is a fan-made soundtrack inspired by Genshin Impact’s upcoming region Fontaine. I made this track for a little music event that I was invited to by @itsDenYT (the video will be up on his channel soon!) The piece is named “Devant la Loi” which translates to “Before the Law”. It’s supposed to refer to the Hydro Archon Focalors aka. the God of Justice and Fontaine as a region, since it’s the next upcoming expansion and I’m really excited about it! Since Fontaine prides itself on its culture and arts I knew from the get-go this had to be something orchestral. I wanted it to sound a little bit classical but also mysterious and exciting, so the music evolves over time. The track has hints of a waltz especially in the first half because I wanted to capture the feel of the Victorian era which I hope Fontaine borrows from in terms of aesthetic (alongside Steampunk). In the second half the music starts to ramp up and gets more exciting but also kind of ominous. For the climax of the track, I tried to incorporate Fontaine’s main motif which we heard in the Travail trailer to make it more recognizable as a Genshin-inspired theme.
