Binding a book by hand - the stitching process coptic style

Subscribe and tap the notification bell for more creative process fun! This is my own variation of the Coptic stitch, I’m no expert, this is just my process. I made a short little clip of me covering the bookboards with book cloth, that is just on my Instagram page @everhard_designs I hope you enjoy this, sorry for the choppiness of it, I move my hands around a lot to get the curved needle in the right position and that makes it look a bit weird. This isn’t intended to be a tutorial, it is more of a process video showing how I personally make my books, I am not an expert, I did take a bookbinding course in college but I am somewhat self-taught. So bear that in mind. This particular book is up for sale on my website If you are interested here is the link: Thank you so much for watching my video, I would really appreciate it if you would like and subscribe, I do plan to upload more process videos in the future. I hope to do a tutorial at real speed with voice over some day but I just don’t have time right now. Here is the link to where I like to get my bookbinding supplies: I get the paper for the pages from a local shop in Ohio but this website has some great paper and I’ve ordered from them in the past: Music:
