Specialized S-Works Aethos custom build for My Name’s Doddie Foundation

Matt Parker from Babble asked Spoon Customs to design and build a unique Specialized Aethos to help raise money for My Name’s Doddie Foundation, as the Babble team take on All Roads Lead to Rome, an epic endurance event which aims to raise as much money as possible to find a cure for MND. The unique frame - based on a Specialized S-Works Aethos - is a tribute to Doddie Weir’s famous tartan. The frame and fork are painstakingly painted by hand, by Jack Kingston in Tartan paint. Find out about the build in this short film, and hear from Rob Duffin about the impact MND has had on him and his family and if you are able, give what you can to support the team’s fundraising efforts as they set off on an epic ride from Murrayfield in Scotland to Rome in Italy in time for the Six Nations. The event, All Roads Lead to Rome, for Doddie Aid takes place on March 1st, to March 8th. The team hope to raise thousands through this gruelling endurance event, arriving in Rome in time for the Scotland V Italy Six Nations fixture.
