Honda NC700X DCT Safe/Limp mode fix

My 2015 Honda NC700x DCT would get “stuck” in a gear or “slip” and end up in safe (Limp) mode allowing the bike to be driven in the last gear selected. If this happens, safely get to the side of the road and turn off bike, when you turn back on press the hand brake and then the start button, press the down shift lever repeatedly until transmission gets back down to Neutral then put up kick stand and put into drive.
