Super Mario Bros. Wonder but remade in NES style (1988) - animation-game by Nimaginendo Games 2023

What if Super Mario Bros. Wonder was made for NES in 1988? An alternate timeline where the game uses DPCM for voices and sounds using a lot of the NES capability. I was going to post it on the launch day of the game but I decided to post it now, because the video contains elements that I wanted to show. The game’s animation in the video is also a more different adaptation of the events of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Changed name to Super Mario Wonderland because in 1988 Super Mario Bros 3 was coming. But if Super Mario Wonderland was like that for a while, can you imagine what Super Mario Bros 3 would be like? Since there is no one to compose the musics, I had to improvise myself and take songs already used in other NES games, made by Konami. Just 1 was my first attempt at imitating the music of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which is the theme of Wonder Flower. It was an easy music because it’s repetitive and it just changes pitch more and more. I used FL Studio the same who I use to remix musics and make sound effects. I even redid some of the sound effects used in the video to match Super Mario Bros. Wonder. All sprites were made by me using materials from other games and Mario games. Some are leftovers from another video animation that I’ll post in the future ’’How would Super Mario Bros. 3 if it had followed the style of the first two games in japan?’’ The engine and source code used is the same of Super Mario Advance 5. It was used for my SMB3 and SMWonderland. This video is also a thank you for all the comments, likes and subscribes I’ve received over the last few months with the videos I’ve posted. Hope you like this one! The most laborious to make were the hippo enemies. Vini Lemos - Nimaginendo Games 2023
