Bryan Cranston celebrates his ’Super Sweet 60’

For over three decades, Bryan Cranston has been an actor’s actor. But it’s only been in the last 16 years that Cranston has broken out to become a superstar, first in a comedic role on Malcolm in the Middle and then an unforgettable dramatic turn in Breaking Bad. Cranston was even nominated for the best actor Oscar earlier this year for his title role in Trumbo. Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, however, Cranston stepped up for his toughest part to date: a spoiled teenager going-on-60. In a hilarious spoof of MTV’s My Super Sweet 16, Cranston played himself as an incredibly selfish narcissist who still lives with his parents, Bea and Ryan Cranston. We’re pretty sure that those weren’t actually Cranston’s parents, but just go with it. Someone at JKL also threw in a great sight gag during the opening scene, as a box of Gustav-O’s can be seen on the dining table.
