To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the pilot film’s release, we are excited to share the full version of the behind-the-scenes of ’HIDARI’🔥 Check out our creative process and witness the skills and dedications that brought ‘HIDARI’ to life! 🎬Watch the pilot film here: 🎬What is HIDARI? This film will tell the action-packed story of Jingoro Hidari, a legendary sculptor who is said to have existed in the Edo period of Japan, although his very existence is yet to be confirmed. Many of his anecdotes claim that he was able to “breathe life” into wooden sculptures, which is exactly what we wanted to do in this stop-motion film. With the aim of turning this project into a feature-length film, we’ve produced a 5-minute pilot film to explore the potential of this concept. We hope you enjoy this bold mix of dynamic Japanimation-like action and stop-motion techniques, unlike anything you have ever seen before. Our intention is to use this pilot film as a starting point to create a full length feature film.
