Led Zeppelin - Live in Tokyo, Japan (Oct. 2nd, 1972)

As requested by Herr Alexander, Z, and Jeter, here is the first show of the band’s 2nd and final tour of Japan in fall 1972. Although this show is rather notorious for marking the point where Plant’s vocal struggles became apparent, he really only has trouble for the first few songs. Once he warms up, he sounds pretty much like he did on the American tour back in June. While the band is slightly rusty from a few months off and still adjusting to their revamped setlist, they nonetheless still deliver a very good performance. 0:00 Intro 1:34 Rock and Roll 5:12 Over the Hills and Far Away 11:01 Black Dog 16:30 Misty Mountain Hop 20:55 Since I’ve Been Loving You 29:06 Dancing Days 34:12 Bron-Y-Aur Stomp 39:44 The Song Remains the Same (first live performance) 44:58 The Rain Song (first live performance) 53:08 Dazed and Confused 1:15:05 Stairway to Heaven 1:24:48 Whole Lotta Love 1:48:57 Heartbreaker 2:02:28 Immigrant Song 2:06:13 Communication Breakdown Bootleg: The Overture (Empress Valley Supreme Disc)
