Note: Leonid Berger began his music career in his native Russia with the highly popular Moscow band Vesyolie Rebyata (known as Весёлые ребята in Russia). He moved to Australia in the early 70’s, securing work as a restaurant performer. His first Australian album ’Leon Berger’ was issued in 1977 and was followed by ’Living In A Mirror’ in 1980. Despite radio play with the single ’Love Is Like A Rainbow’, and notoriety with the song ’Sarah’, Berger didn’t achieved commercial success. In 1984, Berger formed the synth-pop band Koo De Tah and would score a Top 5 hit with the single ’Too Young For Promises’ in 1985.
