The fury of nature is raging in Japan! A terrible hailstorm has hit Gunma, Honshu!

Severe weather continues to affect Japan. On the last day of July, Gunma Prefecture was hit by a severe storm with rain and hail. During the day, temperatures rose and cold air rushed into the sky, making the atmosphere highly unstable. The clouds brought billions of ice stones down on the cities. Some of them were about 5 cm in diameter. Heavy hail is reported in the cities of Takasaki, Maebashi, Isesaki. Residents who fled their homes sought shelter. The streets were covered with a thin layer of ice. Due to poor visibility and dangerous driving conditions, the vehicles were moving at low speeds. About 40 mm of rain fell, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. Several people were injured. There were also reports of broken windows in buildings and car windshields. Gunma is a prefecture located in the Kanto region of Honshu. The population is about 2 million people.
