Hydra 2022 — June 1-3 Info and tickets: — In Heads of Hydra, we interview leading researchers in Concurrent and Distributed Computing and ask them about their current projects, their life, and their recommendations to younger researchers. Our second guest is a professor from Ben-Gurion University, Danny Hendler! After lots of years in the industry he returned into academia and presented brilliant new ideas to the community! One of the most famous is Flat-Combining. Currently, Danny is working on algorithms for persistent memory (NVRAM). In this interview, we will talk about how to move from industry to academia, and what NVRAM is and how to work with it.
