The Royal Tournament (1927)

Item title reads: “ The Royal Tournament. King and Queen see stiring show by Navy, Army and Royal Air Force in Aid of Service charities.“ Olympia, London M/S of the King, Queen and Princess, as they view the arena from the Royal box. The King wearing military uniform, stands on a podium and takes a salute from guardsman wearing busbies. The Scots guards play the bagpipes and march past, watched by large crowds. The King salutes. various scenes show sailors dismantling and reassembling gun carriages, swinging across the arena, using ropes and cables. They scramble over walls, and carry wheels and canons. The camera pans around. the arena showing crowds and the cavalry canter across,pulling gun carriages, riding around the arena in formation, in circular patterns.
