Lin-Manuel Miranda on Encanto’s Oscar Nominations & How Stephen Sondheim Inspired His Next Thing

That’s because I recently got to speak with Miranda to talk about his Encanto Academy Award nomination for Best Song (he wrote the music and lyrics to “Dos Oruguitas” and seven other original songs), and the conversation covered a myriad of subjects.
