EP: Masters of Swing by Louie Prima and Wolfgang Lohr Release date: July 2015 ’Masters of Swing is the first EP from two Berlin turntable-obsessives and features a sensitive electronic remake of the previously almost unknown French version of the hit ’Bei mir bist Du schön’ by Jean Peyronnin and three more catchy versions of the Six Swingers, Harry Roy and His Orchestra and Carroll Gibbons & His Boyfriends They sourced their material from the Green Queen Music compilation ‘Mouthful O’Jam’, which blows new life into the aural treasures of the 1920’s and 30’s - an infamous and exciting era of decadent dances and smokin’ swing music - featuring the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Lil (not Louis) Armstrong.
