Behind the Send #2 : Climbing philosophy for Projecting in Céüse

Céüse is a special place. it’s one of the most beautiful cliffs in the world, and it’s also one of the most challenging for hard routes. We have to be strategic there and learn the routes and the tricks as a student learns their lessons. Patience is key. Projecting so close to your limit there can be mentally hard, sometimes frustrating, and sometimes really joyful. The climbing philosophy makes the difference when you arrive at your breaking point. The question is : what are you climbing for? If you search deeply inside yourself, you will have part of the answer. And it will help you go through this process and finish the job. Remember why you started climbing and what attracted you to trying such a hard and beautiful project. If you want to know where my motivation comes from, check out the second episode of this new series. Thanks to Matty Hong and Jonathan Siegrist for the words. Video by Clarisse Bompard Link in bio.
