Starmer criticises Sunak over delay in abolishing disposable vapes

Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer has criticised Rishi Sunak and the Tory government over the delay in abolishing disposable vapes. Mr Starmer said his party have been arguing for the abolishing of vapes for the last two years. Mr Sunak has promised a “free vote” on the plan to phase out legal smoking among young people, calling it a “matter of conscience” for his MPs. Labour is backing for the smoking ban, so the measure is likely pass through the Commons with relative ease.
