The US Navy Is Testing Its New Lethal Weapon / Russia And China Are Shocked. In the early 1960s, the Cuban Missile Crisis, in which the thought that the Soviets could destroy any US city (including Washington D.C.) in a matter of minutes was repeated on a regular basis on TV and car radio. Some years later , it turned out that the US had a 5 to 1 missile superiority ratio over the then Soviet Union (‘missile gap’ was a false allegation during the 1960 Presidential campaign), and our country had missiles in Turkey and elsewhere that could strike inside the Soviet Union from a close distance years before Cuba, as well as a Naval force of vast numerical, technological and strategic superiority. The Soviet threat was exaggerated for a different purpose than informing the public, and that discussion is left for others to have. Today, of course, the scenario is different, and China now has more Naval vessels in operation than either Russia or the US. But the lists of numbers at play in this discussion do not reveal a clear picture of which Navy is the most powerful and is most likely to prevail after a period of serious non-nuclear warfare. #US #navy #vs #Russian #Chinese For copyright matters please contact us at: jad71064223@
