Known as one of The Deathless, immortal beings capable of transferring their souls into new bodies upon death, Raidriar is finally confronted by a brave knight. But the his weapon, the Infinity Blade, proves to be too much and the knight is slain, his blood activating the mysterious powers of the weapon. Twenty years pass, and his son, having been raised to fight the God King, vows to avenge his father’s death. But he and the rest of his bloodline prove to be no match, until now. Siris, the current descendant, defeats Raidriar using the Infinity Blade - the only weapon that can truly kill a Deathless. Vowing to end the tyranny of the Deathless for good, Siris and his companion, Isa, set out to locate the Worker of Secrets, the fabled creator of the Infinity Blade. But Siris is ambushed by the reincarnated God King who reclaims the Infinity Blade. Before Siris is executed, he’s killed by Isa after realizing his true nature: Siris himself is a Deathless. Siris is resurrected, now realizing he was once known as Ausar the Terrible. Siris fights his way into the Vault of Tears where finds the Worker, but the only way to free him is to retrieve the Infinity Blade from Raidriar. Siris defeats Raidriar and returns with both the God King and the Infinity Blade at which point the Worker reveals his devious design; Siris was used to defeat his rivals and return the Infinity Blade to his possession, which he intends to use to rule over the Deathless. In his final traitorous act, he locks Siris and Raidriar within the vault of tears, but not before revealing it was Ausar that imprisoned him there ages ago.
