ECM Festival Freiburg 2016 The town of Freiburg, located in the Southwest of Germany near the Swiss and French borders, was the site of a three day ECM Festival in Mid-April. Nik Bärtsch’s Mobile, the Marcin Wasilewski Trio with Joakim Milder, Zsófia Boros, Duo Gazzana and Anja Lechner with Francois Couturier were to perform in matinees, evening and late-night concerts at the Forum Merzhausen from Friday, April 15th to Sunday, April 17th. The program also included a listening session with ECM founder Manfred Eicher. The festival was accompanied by an ECM cover exhibition at the Forum Merzhausen .
