“Mother’s Cherry Tree“ (Мамина вишня) Kobzarska Sich Bandura Video

The 2015 Kobzarska Sich Ensemble performing, “Mother’s Cherry Tree,“ by Anatoli Pashkevych and words by Dmytro Lutsenko at a concert in Emlenton, Pennsylvania, USA in August 2015. Members of the ensemble came together from cities across North America to participate in the intense two-week camp, learning to sing and play the Ukrainian national instrument, the bandura. The Kobzarska Sich program was established in 1979 by Hero of Ukraine Hryhory Kytasty, and continues to teach bandura to young people from around the world.
