Bubble Bobble (NES) - ’Main Theme’ EWI Multitrack

The main theme from Bubble Bobble, released in arcades in 1986 by Taito. Performed here using the Akai EWI 4000s, using patch 15 of the built-in soundfonts. Technically speaking the NES port used only two channels for this piece of music, while the arcade uses three. While the NES has three channels capable of producing set pitches, my guess is that they wanted to keep one channel free to produce sound effects.
