The first float we see shows glamour girls on a ’Jersey’ themed float, sitting on motorboats and waving to the crowd. A carnival queen sits on a throne on the float - could be London Tourist Board Easter Princess Christina Hasler. Other floats depict space travel - with people in space or robot costumes walking alongside - and varied forms of transport, such as an old omnibus, a steam traction engine, horse-drawn fire engine, camels, horse-drawn carriages and stagecoaches. A woman is carried along in a sedan chair, others ride in a Roman-style chariot, while some stone-age children pull along a simple cart, with a stone-age girl sitting on it. Also seen are old bicycles - penny farthing, boneshaker and double-seater. People sitting on top of an old motor bus wear decorated hats. M/Ss of hippy couples walking along, wearing decorated hats an
