Click on Language option TEMPLE OF THE VEDIC PLANETARIUM COSMIC CHANDELIER The Temple of the Vedic Planetarium, currently under construction in Mayapur, West Bengal, India by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), will be the world’s first Vedic Temple/Planetarium combination and the largest modern temple in India. The mobile cosmic chandelier, depicted in the computer model you are about to see, will hang from the ceiling of the main dome about 200’ down. It will exhibit the authentic Vedic conception of the universe according to the ancient and sacred writings of India’s Vedas. The temple/planetarium is scheduled to open in 2024.
