The glitch of Mother 3 glitches

After beating the Whirlpool Djinn in my level 1 game, I was welcomed to some incredibly strange colors, as if the mushroom scene now affected more than just the characters. This was by far one of the most bizarre video game glitches I’ve ever seen. I figured it was because of the weird ordering of the party, but changing it to what it should be to avoid any problems didn’t help.
