Jolt is an upcoming action-thriller that focuses on Lindy (Kate Beckinsale). Lindy is a beautiful, sardonically-funny woman who is trying to manage a rare neurological disorder that causes her to react violently to anyone she witnesses being cruel. Lindy’s physician, Dr. Munchin (Stanley Tucci) has created a vest for her to wear that sends shockwaves to her brain. At the press of a button, this vest helps to stabilise her until she can escape whatever has triggered her destructive impulses. Jolt also stars Laverne Cox, Susan Sarandon, Bobby Cannavale, Jai Courtney, David Bradley, and Ori Pfeffer. Jolt arrives on Amazon Prime Video on July 23, 2021.
