World Ballet Day 2023 | The Stuttgart Ballet

For this year’s World Ballet Day Stuttgart Ballet presents a stage rehearsal of John Crankos Initials .. John Cranko created Initials . to the four movements of Johannes Brahms’ monumental 2nd Piano Concerto for his entire ensemble. There are four Soloists, surrounded by a large corps de ballet. This life-affirming ballet is a testament to Cranko’s seemingly endless choreographic invention and sparkles with vitality and virtuosity. The stage rehearsal will be led by Artistic Director Tamas Detrich.
